tooth fairy :)

yey, today i watching again with my fellas (my junior high school friends) and we're watching tooth fairy, a comedy and fantasy film in emporium pluit mall, it's funny and also sad story, I don't know why but i almost cry yaa i'm melancholy person :) but it's touching and you can find a loyality from others although you aren't expect here is the short synopsis :)

Derek Thompson, is a hard-charging minor league hockey whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's hopes, he's sentenced to one week's hard labor as a "real" toothfairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings, and magic wand. At first, Derek "can't handle the tooth"—bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers' homes...doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

The hockey scenes were filmed at the great western forum using players from the Los angels movie

you must watched it :)

sherlock holmes :D

i like detective movie like sherlock holmes :) it's a inspiration for my life if you ask me why i just can say it's make me want to be a smart person to solve something and i watch sherlock holmes after teto rehearsal with my friends , and i just get a new experience why ? because i watched in front seat really really front and after watching my head sick but i love this film and this the synopsis :

Whether the new Sherlock Holmes movie is any good is a mystery that may be impossible for even the famous detective himself to solve. The truth is, director Guy Ritchie’s film is rather schizophrenic; at times fun and exciting and at others dreadfully tedious and boring. The plot or central mystery is all but incomprehensible, yet watching Robert Downey Jr. as the veteran sleuth solve said mystery is quite pleasurable indeed.

This new Sherlock Holmes is very much the intelligent master of deduction that he has always been but now he is also a straight up action hero, who does as much thinking with his fists as with his brilliant mind. It’s kind of like Sherlock Holmes mixed with Lethal Weapon with a dash of Indiana Jones thrown in for good measure. The fact is the film is more concerned with being a buddy movie than creating a satisfying mystery that the audience can participate in.

As always, Holmes is partnered with the more sophisticated Dr. Watson (Jude Law) but this time around they act more like Felix and Oscar from The Odd Couple or Riggs and Murtaugh from the Lethal Weapon series, constantly nit picking at one another while also having major bromantic feelings for one another. The pair have plenty of ongoing jokes between them, but as an audience member it’s a bit boring because you don’t know exactly what they are referring to. As enjoyable as Downey and Law are to watch together, it’s also a bit tedious due to the fact that we never really get a sense of how their relationship started to begin with and that just may be Sherlock Holmes biggest flaw. I understand that the character is famous and has been around forever, but there is no origin story. If you are going to launch a film franchise, it would be nice to see how the characters start out. Perhaps the first installment of the series should’ve centered on the first case that Holmes and Watson worked on together. This film feels like you are watching Sherlock Holmes 3: The Case of the Resurrecting Man without ever having seen parts 1 and 2.

The central mystery as it were involves the villainess Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong) a murderer who is caught by Holmes in the very beginning of the film and sentenced to death. Shortly after, Blackwood apparently comes back to life, kills a few more people and the plot snowballs into him wanting to gain control over the whole world through the use of black magic or some such nonsense. When Holmes explains it all at the end, it makes sense, but at that point you won’t care. The fun of watching a great detective is to be able to play along with them, but there is no way to do that here. The only reason there is any mystery attached to this film at all is because the character is famous for solving them. I can’t help but feel that director Guy Ritchie was more interested in making a period piece version of Lethal Weapon than crafting an engaging plot.

There are some great things about the movie however. The action scenes are exciting and cleverly staged with an Indiana Jones flavor to them. One fight in particular between Holmes and a giant of a man is very reminiscent of the scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark where Indy is fighting the big bald German mechanic. One of my very favorite ideas the film employs is that Holmes is as thought out with his punches as he is with his deductions. During a fistfight, Holmes thinks out the series of punches he’s going to use on his opponent before actually throwing one. The film is electrifying when Holmes is fighting or sorting out clues, but everything else in between is rather bland and ineffective.

The best thing about this film is the inspired casting of Downey as Holmes and the effortless chemistry he shares with Law. I was excited to see Downey’s portrayal of Holmes and was not disappointed in the slightest. He is endlessly watchable, balancing precariously on the thin line between genius and insanity.

Downey has a supercharged intensity about him every time he is figuring out the nearly indecipherable clues in front of him. Unfortunately his thought out deductions aren’t used enough and the film relies more on the physicality of the character, which Downey also excels at. Jude Law is also very good as Watson but because the film never explains how he and Holmes became such good friends, he is nothing more than a sidekick, lacking any major stirrings of character development.

To sum it up, Sherlock Holmes is the cinematic equivalent of eating cotton candy. Sure it tastes great going down, but there’s no way you are going to be full when you are done eating it.

this is the short synopsis from this film :

In 2154, the RDA corporation is mining Pandora, a lush, Earth-like, moon of the planet Polyphemus, in the Alpha Centauri star system.Parker Selfridge (Giovanni Ribisi) heads the mining operation, employing marines for security. The corporation intends to exploit Pandora's reserves of a valuable mineral called unobtanium. Pandora is inhabited by the Na'vi, a blue-skinned species of sapient humanoids with feline characteristics. Physically much stronger and taller than humans, the Na'vi live in harmony with Nature, worshiping a mother goddess called Eywa.

Humans cannot survive exposure to Pandora's atmosphere for very long and must use gas masks. Attempting to improve relations with the natives and learn about Pandora's biology, scientists grow Na'vi bodies modified with human DNA, called avatars, that are controlled by genetically-matched, mentally-linked human operators. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paraplegic former marine, replaces his murdered identical twin brother, a scientist trained to be an avatar operator. Doctor Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver), the head of the Avatar Program, considers Sully an inadequate replacement for his brother and relegates him to a bodyguard role.

Jake escorts Augustine and biologist Norm Spellman (Joel David Moore) into the jungle in their avatar forms, on a mission to reestablish relations with the Na'vi and end the threat of violence. The group is attacked by a predator and Jake becomes separated and lost. Forced to survive the night in Pandora's dangerous jungles, he is rescued by Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), a female Na'vi. Neytiri brings Jake to Hometree, which is inhabited by her clan, the Omaticaya. Mo'at (C. C. H. Pounder), a shaman and Neytiri's mother, shows interest in the warrior "Dream-walker", and instructs her daughter to teach Jake their ways. Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang), leader of the security forces, enlists Jake to bring him intelligence about the natives that could help RDA negotiate to recover the unobtanium. He promises Jake that he will help him obtain the expensive treatment to restore function to his legs.

At first, Jake delivers key strategic information to Quaritch. Over three months, however, Jake grows close to Neytiri and the Omaticaya and develops strong attachments to Pandora, eroding his loyalty to RDA's agenda. He is initiated as a member of the Omaticaya, and he and Neytiri choose each other as mates. Jake's change of loyalty is revealed when he disables a bulldozer as it destroys the tribe's "Tree of Voices". Quaritch disconnects Jake from his avatar and presents Selfridge and Augustine with a video diary in which Jake admits that the Omaticaya will never abandon Hometree. Selfridge is convinced that negotiations will fail and orders Hometree's destruction.

Augustine argues that the destruction of Hometree could affect the bio-botanical neural network that all Pandoran organisms are connected to, and Selfridge gives Jake and Augustine one hour to convince the Na'vi to leave Hometree. When Jake reveals his original mission to the Omaticaya, Neytiri accuses him of betraying them. Jake and Augustine's avatars are taken captive. Quaritch's forces destroy Hometree, killing Eytucan (Wes Studi), Neytiri's father and clan chief, and many others. Jake and Augustine are disconnected from their avatars and detained for treason along with Norm. Trudy Chacón (Michelle Rodriguez), a security force pilot who is disgusted by the violence, breaks them out. During their escape, Quaritch shoots Augustine. Hoping that the Omaticaya can help Augustine, Jake tames a Toruk, a powerful flying beast that only five Na'vi have tamed, to regain their trust. Jake finds the Omaticaya at the sacred Tree of Souls and pleads with Mo'at to heal Augustine. The clan attempts to transplant her soul into her avatar, but she dies before the ritual can be completed.

With the assistance of Neytiri and Tsu'Tey (Laz Alonso), the new leader of the Omaticaya, Jake assembles thousands of Na'vi from other clans. Jake prays to Eywa to intercede on behalf of the Na'vi in the coming battle. Quaritch, noting the mobilization of Na'vi clans, convinces Selfridge to authorize a preemptive strike on the Tree of Souls. Because it is a center of Na'vi religion and culture, its destruction would leave the Na'vi too demoralized to resist further human encroachment.

As the corporation's security forces attack, the Na'vi retaliate with a strategic advantage but crude weapons. The Na'vi suffer heavy casualties, among them Tsu'Tey and Trudy. Suddenly, the Pandoran wildlife joins the attack on the corporation's forces, overwhelming them. Neytiri interprets this as Eywa answering Jake's prayer. Jake destroys the main bomber before it can reach the Tree of Souls. Quaritch finds the avatar interface pod where Jake's human body is located and attacks it, exposing Jake to Pandora's atmosphere. Neytiri kills Quaritch and saves Jake. With the attack repelled, Neytiri and Jake reaffirm their love as she sees his human body for the first time.

Selfridge and the remaining corporation personnel are expelled from Pandora, while Jake, Norm, and the scientists studying Pandora are allowed to remain. Jake is seen wearing the insignia of the Omaticaya leader. The clan perform the ritual to transplant Jake's consciousness into his Na'vi avatar permanently with the aid of the Tree of Souls.

love this film :)
